This research aimed to explore the role of positive thinking in individual decision-making, identify types of positive thinking, and examine positive thinking strategies. It also sought to understand the characteristics and patterns of decision-making. The research questions were answered, and the findings were based on previous studies examining the role of positive thinking in decision-making. These studies revealed that positive thinking plays a significant role in individual decision-making. In light of these findings, several recommendations were made, including: providing specialists in psychological counseling in various centers such as schools and universities to develop positive thinking and decision-making skills; coordinating with media outlets to produce programs on human development topics, including positive thinking and decision-making; and urging Libyan universities to organize seminars and courses on human development to help university students maintain positive thinking amidst current challenges.
