The current study aims to investigate professional performance and its relationship to the level of psychological burnout among women working at the Souq Al-Khamis Al-Khums General Hospital. The study sample consisted of (41) women working in the health sector. The descriptive correlational approach was used to achieve the study's objectives. A scale for professional performance and another for the level of psychological burnout were developed. Both scales demonstrated validity and reliability. Statistical methods such as split-half reliability, the t-test, arithmetic means, standard deviations, percentages, and the Pearson correlation coefficient were used to obtain the study's results. The study found that the level of professional performance among the working women had a mean of (4.04) with a standard deviation of (1.36). It also revealed a moderate level of psychological burnout, with a mean of (3.07) and a standard deviation of (1.06), with no differences in ranks based on background variables. The results also indicated a correlational relationship between professional performance and psychological burnout among women working in the health sector.Downloads
